Lease and Deeds
The deeds and leases of the properties held by members provide that all members contribute to the company's expenses in maintaining the estate. Any new leaseholders or owners are required to become members of the company.

Freehold
The freehold was originally held by Mallard Estates Limited under title BK262539. The leases state that Mallard Estates Limited intended to transfer the freehold to The Old Coachyard Lambourn Property Management Company Limited on completion of the development. However, Mallard Estates Limited went into liquidation in 1991 and the freehold passed to the Crown as bona vacantia. The title has not since been disclaimed.
